A group of high school students representing the sustainability group of the Bermuda Youth Climate Summit hosted by BEHI have teamed up with local businesses to request discounts on alternatives to single use plastics. The pilot program is being launched at the beginning of this month and focuses on reducing plastic in hot lunches in a limited number of schools around Bermuda.The two businesses offering discounts on sustainable lunch supplies are: The Chef Shop which has a fantastic range of children lunch boxes, snazzy water bottles, cutlery sets and lots more.
